We are partnering up with Brookhaven Free Library to clean local streets! Meet at either South Country Library or Brookhaven Free Library to join your neighbors and help make a difference.

One-On-One Medicare Counseling and Assistance

(Must be Medicare Eligible)

Every 2nd Tuesday of the Month

10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Registration is required for a 45 minute session

Stony Brook Medicine URIM (Under Represented in Medicine) Committee will be hosting a Baby Shower for parents-to-be.

For newborn - 35 months AND an adult. Sing, say and play along with Mother Goose rhymes and meet other parents/caregivers in the area. 

Stony Brook’s fully outfitted Mobile Mammography Van is spacious and features a registration area, a comfortable waiting room, private changing and exam spaces, and state-of-the-art 3D equipment.

Join us for our monthly Books & Bagels book discussion! This month we'll be chatting about the Long Island Reads 2026 pick. Bagels, coffee, and tea will be served. 

For newborn - 5 years old AND an adult. Join Meghan VK to sing, clap and dance along with classic rhymes and children's songs!

A self-empowering, abstinence based support group for anyone recovering from addiction and addictive behaviors (alcoholism, drug abuse/addiction, gambling addiction, etc).

For grades 3rd-5th. Children will create a beautiful butterfly using oil pastels and watercolor paints.

Interested in receiving direct feedback on your writing from other writers? Join the writer’s workshop where writers read their work and share comments. We meet every two weeks and a new piece of writing is due at each class.

For grades K-5th AND an adult. No registration, drop in between 6:00-7:30 on April 16. Celebrate Earth Day by visiting the library to make a windsock of your very own!
