A Trip to Safety Town [2nd-5th AND an adult]

Registration for this event will be open from July 1, 2024 @ 9:30am to July 10, 2024 @ 9:15am.
Allowed Ages: 7 years to 11 years
Allowed Grades: 2nd Grade to 5th Grade

Event Details

For grades 2nd-5th (children must be 7 years by time of the program) AND an adult. Learn about traffic, bicycle, and pedestrian safety using bicycles and miniature electric vehicles. Meet at Safety Town at the Holtsville Ecology Center at 9:15 am.

We thank Safety Town and the Town of Brookhaven for accommodating us. They do have some requirements. 

  • Children must be at least 7 years old by time of program
  • Children must wear sneakers and a bicycle helmet to participate 
  • Siblings who are not registered and/or are not the proper age range cannot participate 
  • Parents are expected to stay on site in the foyer, the zoo or the park
