Event Details
How does the Suffolk County government work? How does it differ from our federal and state governments? With Election Day coming up, this program will analyze the results on the last election, and see how and why our community voted the way that they did. We will discuss how a bill becomes a law, how you can get involved, and speak out on local issues. This program will be educational and nonpartisan. Students will receive 1 hour of community service for attending.
