One-On-One Medicare Counseling and Assistance

(Must be Medicare Eligible)

10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Registration is required for a 45 minute session

For 18-35 months AND an adult. Listen to a story, sing, dance, and play!

For ages newborn - 5 years AND an adult. Discover the joy of early communication! This interactive class introduces babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to American Sign Language (ASL) through songs, stories, and playful movement.

For newborn - 35 months AND an adult. Sing, say and play along with Mother Goose rhymes and meet other parents/caregivers in the area. 

This ancient, evidence-based Chinese healing art and parent of Tai Chi contains gentle, low impact exercises which provide many benefits including lowered blood pressure, increased bone density, balance and coordination.

Join us for our monthly Books & Bagels book discussion! This month we'll be chatting about Bright Young Women by Jessica Knoll. Bagels, coffee, and tea will be served. 

A self-empowering, abstinence based support group for anyone recovering from addiction and addictive behaviors (alcoholism, drug abuse/addiction, gambling addiction, etc).

Join us in the library parking lot for some fall fun. Enjoy some music to get you in the spirit while you paint pumpkins. We’ll provide supplies for each family’s use and there will be plenty of other tricks and treats to enjoy.

For Preschool - 2nd AND an adult. Meet at Hagerman Fire Dept. (510 Oakdale Ave. or Ralph T. Perry Drive, East Patchogue) for a tour of the station and trucks, and learn about fire safety. 

For 3-5 years AND an adult. Join us for some books and a craft.

For 2.5 - 5 years AND an adult. Does your child like art? Join us for a FUN art project! Dress for a mess.

For grades 2nd-5th. Decorate a wooden box as a gift or to keep.

Sabrina Perrino instructs yoga with a mindful approach. Pose modifications available. Balance breath and movement to find synchronicity. 

7 classes; $28

Interested in receiving direct feedback on your writing from other writers? Join the writer’s workshop where writers read their work and share comments. We meet every two weeks and a new piece of writing is due at each class.

For grades 1st-5th. Children will create a s fairy garden using mini pumpkins and other fairy accessories.

Share ideas and help plan library programs. Everyone who attends will receive one hour of community service.

Christopher DeCilla returns to play a flute-like shakuhachi, two 1920s Hawaiian steel guitars, and a guitar-like, Colombian tiple. His World Music show blends Buddhist music, Japanese classical and folk, blues, gospel, and country.
