Program Description

Event Details

For K-5th AND an adult. Meet at Wertheim National Wildlife Refuge (340 Smith Rd, Shirley, NY 11967) at 10:00 am. We'll learn about caring for and keeping our wildlife safe.

Please wear closed shoes/sneakers, socks and long pants to minimize tick exposure.

Registration for this in-person, off-site program opens on September 3 at 9:30 am. (Because of the Sunday/holiday timing, September registration starts later.) Register at the library, online, or by phone at 631-286-0818 x2.

***Wertheim is hosting a Shell Art craft program after 11 am. Families are welcome to stay and participate.
