Event Details

How does the Suffolk County government work? How does it differ from our federal and state governments? With Election Day having recently passed, this program will analyze the results, and see how and why our community voted the way that they did. We will discuss how a bill becomes a law in Suffolk County, who our local elected officials are, and how you can get involved. This program will be educational and nonpartisan.
Everyone who attends will receive 1 hour of community service.
