Larry Moser and Max Rowland

Max Rowland and Larry Moser Perform old time songs and tunes, mostly from the 18th and 19th centuries. They use a variety of instruments - including 19th century banjo, cittern, hammered dulcimer, Anglo-German concertina, English concertina, button accordions and guitar. Their music comes mainly from Ireland, England, Scotland and America. Nautical music - tunes and sea chanteys - are a specialty. Some songs and tunes are from Long Island.

Max and Larry have been playing for various events - concerts, dances, parties, etc., for over ten years. With their band, Fiddlers Green, they are favorites at Long Island libraries. They are regulars at the Old Bethpage Village Restoration at special events - like the Long Island Fair, and Old Time Music Weekend.
