Juneteenth Event

We will celebrate Juneteenth with a special event that includes musical performances, speeches, and food! Join us to learn more about the history and importance of Juneteenth. Prior to the event, we will run a poster contest for grade K-12 students with the theme of unity. Poster deadline is Monday, May 13; submit entry in person to the Reference desk. Contest winners will be congratulated at the 6/13 Juneteenth event; participants can receive 3 hours of community service. This event is in partnership with the Village of Bellport and the Greater Bellport Coalition.
