Connecting Through Sound with Joenne Dumitrascu and Jelena Cingara

New-York based Canadian musicians Joenne Dumitrascu and Jelena Cingara have carved their own unique path in the music industry. With an affinity for new music and discovering works with limited stage exposure, they teamed up in the spring of 2023 to create a musical soirée series, combining the structure of a traditional classical recital with social interaction in an informal setting. With a nod to the canonic repertoire of the past, this program takes the listener from early works to the pieces of modern composers.
