Buddy Merriam and Back Roads

The library is pleased to welcome back hometown Bluegrass legend, Buddy Merriam and his band Back Roads! Buddy Merriam and Back Roads have been performing since 1980. Over the years, the group has performed throughout the region- at most of the large Bluegrass festivals in the Northeast. Buddy has performed several times at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN., and toured throughout Ireland, Scotland and England. Buddy has released 7 CD’s including the all original Back Roads Mandolin along with two books of his original mandolin music, with a third volume in progress. Back Roads shows include Buddy’s original music, Bluegrass and Country songs, and crowd pleasing fun covers done Back Roads Style!
